"My first thought when I had an..."
My first thought when I had an issue with my IMVU account was that I’d be waiting around for days, so I was kind of surprised when support got back to me quickly. They explained the steps clearly, and it was fixed without a bunch of back and forth. Based on that first experience, I’m happy with how they handled it

"So fun changing up my avatar"
I love how many clothes and styles there are because I can make my avatar look kind of like me one day and then the next day make it totally random and weird and cute and completely different, and it just makes messing around with it way more fun than I expected.

"I’ve been using IMVU for a while now..."
I’ve been using IMVU for a while now, and the security settings make me feel a lot more comfortable. I like that the privacy options are easy to find, because I’m the type of person who needs to double-check who can see my stuff or message me. The login checks are reassuring too, especially when I switch devices and want to know my account is actually protected. I wouldn’t say everything is perfect, but so far I haven’t had any strange account problems, which definitely helps me feel more at ease

"Fun for chatting, but not always smooth"
I’d say IMVU is decent if you’re just looking to chat with people and hang out in different rooms. I’ve had some nice conversations on there and even made a few friends, and some rooms can be surprisingly chill, depending on when you join.

That said, the community feels kind of unpredictable. Sometimes people are friendly, but other times there’s random drama or people being rude for no clear reason. I don’t know, it’s not a terrible place, but your experience really seems to depend on who you happen to run into that day.

"Fair and straightforward"
The moderation seemed fair to me, and when I had an issue with a ban, it got sorted out without a big runaround. that’s all you can really ask for, clear handling and a bit of common sense.

"Credits are actually reasonable"
I buy credits on imvu every now and then, the prices seem fair enough for what you get. The sales definitely help, which is nice because not everyone wants to throw money around like it’s nothing. I’ve never really felt pushed to spend more than I wanted, I just buy what I need and move on.

"Helpful controls when you're too drained to deal with creeps"
I was already feeling mentally drained, so getting a few weird messages was the last thing I wanted to deal with. Thankfully, blocking and reporting people was quick and easy. The safety settings made it simple to shut it down and move on.

"Works okay, but I’m still a bit wary"
The app has been running smooth for me lately. No random crashes, and the rooms load fast enough, which is better than it used to be on my phone. I will say though, after I made a payment, I got a little uneasy and kept checking to make sure everything went through properly. It works fine so far, but I still don’t fully trust it after paying.

"they treat their consumer like shit"

they will banned your account for no reason. when you try to resolve the issue they treat you like a joke. they suck as a company and should be shut down tbh. i hope that company go bankrupt for scamming their consumers
